"A golden-throated leading man..."
Allan Snyder's two-decade career as a singer and actor has taken him all over the globe, from the bright lights of Broadway to international concert engagements in Europe and Asia to performing one of the most iconic roles in musical theatre--the title role of The Phantom of the Opera--in that spectacular musical's national tour.
Originally from southern California, Allan moved to New York to attend New York University, and soon after graduation had the good fortune to perform in the final cast of the original Broadway production of Les Miserables. Also in New York, Allan performed off-Broadway in the long-running classic The Fantasticks and appeared in many leading roles at regional theatres all over the country
Allan is no stranger to the concert stage as well, having appeared as a guest entertainer on Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Holland America cruise lines, and at performing arts centers and corporate and social events around the world.
Allan and his wife Kate recently relocated to Pittsburgh and have welcomed daughter Luisa to their growing family! Allan has been embraced by the Pittsburgh theatre community, performing at such esteemed theaters as the Pittsburgh CLO and Pittsburgh Public Theater. He is also an in-demand concert artist, presenting his cabaret Broadway + Beyond all around the Pittsburgh area.
